At Mike Vaughan Cycles we’re more than just a specialist bike retailer, we are a group of passionate cyclists working together to build, supply and service bikes for our long standing customer base. Our independent bike store has been doing this since 1961 and we pride ourselves on fantastic customer service with a personal touch – taking care of our customer’s bicycles as if they were our own. We’re a community of road, cross, mountain and downhill riders. We understand that cycling is a way of life and that our customers depend on us to keep them riding.
We are delighted to be recruiting for either an experienced and qualified mechanic, or a trainee mechanic who wants to learn with our support. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous bike retail experience and who has delivered previous excellent customer service – preferably in the bike industry, but not essential. Ideal candidates will also have a high degree of technical and mechanical knowledge as this role will involve building and repairing bikes. Having a Cytech qualification would be awesome but if not we can start you on your way to accreditation.
40 hours a week from Tuesday to Saturdays (Closed Sundays and Mondays)
